Combined treatment of HCC cell lines with combinations of MK-2206, AZD6244 and AZD8055 synergistically suppresses proliferation. HCC cells were seeded into 96-well plates and incubated with increasing concentrations of AKT inhibitor MK-2206, MEK inhibitor AZD6244 or mTOR inhibitor AZD8055 or a combination of two inhibitors, as indicated over 72 h. Controls were treated with DMSO only. Proliferation was analyzed after 72h by BrdU incorporation.
