PET-16 is cytotoxic to MM cells. (A) MM cell lines were collected and expression of HSP70 protein was determined by Western blotting. Protein loading was confirmed by re-probing the membrane with antibody against β-actin. (B) MM cells were cultured in the presence of indicated concentrations of PET-16 for 72h. Cell viability was measured in triplicate using Resazurin (alamar blue) dye. Error bars mark standard deviations.(C) MM cells were treated PET-16 (3 μM) for 24h. Cells were then collected and apoptosis was determined by Annexin V binding assay. The combined results of several experiments are shown. Results are presented as mean ± SD.
