Docking of adapalene on CDK2. (A) The predicted conformation of CDK2 in complex with adapalene was visualized in a three-dimensional manner using iview 27. The blue, red and yellow colors represent the nitrogen atom, oxygen atom and sulphur atom, respectively. (B) The intermolecular interaction diagram of adapalene with amino acids of CDK2 was illustrated in a two-dimensional manner using PoseView28. Adapalene was predicted to reside in the adenosine triphosphate-binding site of CDK2 and interact with CDK2 mainly through hydrophobic contacts with Phe82, Ile10, Leu134, Lys33 and His84.
