Laser power values were those displayed on the controller. Square ROIs (n=51) were set as 5.38 μm×5.38 μm. ΔT gradients were measured three times at 25°C or twice at 37°C. d (in μm) is defined as the distance from the IR laser focal point to the center of the ROI. The unit in the logarithm was cancelled by setting d0=1 (in μm).
