Marzec M., Melzer M., and Szarejko I. Root Hair Development in the Grasses: What We Already Know and What We Still Need to Know.

Near the end of the first paragraph in the right-hand column on page 408 of this article, the information regarding smaller and larger daughter cells should be revised to read:

Two type I subtypes can be distinguished: in subtype IA cells, trichoblasts can only be distinguished from atrichoblasts by the presence/absence of an RH tube, while subtype IB cells first divide symmetrically but then expand asymmetrically, with the smaller daughter cells differentiating into trichoblasts and the larger ones into atrichoblasts.
