Whole-brain searchlight analysis for cross-decoding in Experiment 1. A, Medial view. B, Ventral view. Consistent with the results of our ROI analysis, cross-decoding was significant with PPA bilaterally at corrected levels and was significant at a more liberal threshold (p < 0.001, uncorrected) within bilateral RSC and right OPA. The outline of PPA and RSC was created by creating a group t statistic in standard space for the contrast scenes greater than objects, thresholded at p < 0.001 (corrected). The outline of anatomically defined PHC was manually segmented on the standard space brain.
