(A) Myelin oligodendrocyte glycoprotein (MOG)35-55–specific CD8+ T cells cannot inhibit proteolipid protein (PLP)178-191 experimental autoimmune encephalomyelitis (EAE). MOG35-55-specific (A), PLP178-191-specific (B, C), or ovalbumin (OVA)323-339-specific (controls in all panels) CD8+ T cells were transferred into naive B6 mice at day 1. On day 0, EAE was induced by immunization with PLP178-191 (A), MOG35-55 (B), and a combination of both PLP178-191 and MOG35-55 (C). Representative of 2 independent experiments each. *p < 0.05.
