Prevalence of cardiovascular disease (CVD) according to the change of plasma AOPPs levels after one year on PD. Among patients with an increase lower than 50% (n = 33), there was no difference in prior CV disease prevalence whereas, among those with AOPPs increase higher than 50% (n = 15), there was a higher prevalence of prior CV disease. p < 0.001 (significant CVD history in patients with an increase of plasma AOPPs levels greater than 50% versus lower than 50%).
