Glucose uptake and lactic acid production were measured in SP1130 and SP1141 (SP1130 overexpressing GCR1) strains during growth in YPD medium containing 40 g/liter glucose without CaCO₃ (B) or with 5 g/liter CaCO₃ (C) under microaerobic conditions.
