Influenza A viral hemagglutination assay. A, A/PR/8/34 and A/CA/7/09 were diluted with PBS to produce the indicated MOIs. Chicken red blood cells were added to each well, incubated for 1 h, and photographed. B and C, the indicated MOIs of A/PR/8/34 or A/CA/7/09 were added to the indicated concentrations of (+)-(S)-bakuchiol or (−)-(R)-bakuchiol, diluted in PBS, mixed with 0.5% chicken red blood cells, incubated for 1 h, and photographed. DMSO (0.008–1%) was used as the negative control. Data are representative of two independent experiments, and the results were reproducible.
