Equal volume of MelB samples after solubilization with 2% DDM or GDN, as well as 1.5% MNG-3 in the presence of 20 mM melibiose and 200 mM NaCl without (−) or with (+) ultracentrifugation was loaded onto SDS-12% PAGE. MelB proteins were detected by Western blotting using anti–His tag antibody. 10 μg membrane proteins were used for test under each condition. *, SDS-16% PAGE.
