IL-23 levels are significantly higher in CLL versus control sera. Serum samples from CLL patients (N = 57) and age-matched normal healthy control subjects (N = 15) were analyzed for IL-23 by sandwich ELISA. Serum levels of IL-23 were significantly higher in CLL patients (p = 0.0001) compared with age-matched control subjects. Statistical significance was examined by the Mann–Whitney test
