Each sample was measured 4 times by mRNA expression assay (human gene chip). (Panel C). mRNA expression of insulin and glucagon in human pancreas and adipose tissue (AT) with and without type 2 diabetes (T2D). The mRNA expression levels of insulin and almost glucagon remained unchanged in pancreas of either state. The mRNA expression of insulin was decreased and glucagon demolished in AT-T2D as compared to AT without T2D.
