siRNA-mediated knockdown of BMPR2 silencing promoted G2/M cell cycle arrest. (a) Cells ware stained with PI following treatment with or without siBMPR2 transfection for 48 h. Cell cycle was analyzed using flow cytometry. (b) The bar chart shows the percentage of cells in cell cycle. The BMPR2 siRNA transfection resulted in a significant increase in the proportion of cells in the G2/M phase in HCS-2/8 and SW1353 cells. (c) Expression of p-Rb and cyclin B1 were inhibited in chondrosarcoma cell lines when treated with siBMPR2 for 48 h, as assayed by western blot analysis.
