The effects of SIN on the apoptosis of OCLs measured using the Hoechst assay. (A) The apoptotic nuclei of OCLs stained by Hoechst 33258. OCLs derived from RAW264.7 cells were treated with SIN (0.5 mmol/L) for 24 h in the presence or absence of the caspase-3 inhibitor Ac-DEVD-CHO (10 μmol/L), and the cells were stained with Hoechst 33258 (magnification ×100). (B) The number of cells with apoptotic nuclear condensation per well. (C) The effects of SIN on the necrosis of OCLs that were treated for 24 h, which was measured using the LDH activity assay.
