All the proteins were detected only in uterine luminal fluid from Day 16 pregnant heifers compared to cyclic heifers and produced by Day 16 conceptuses cultured short-term in vitro and transcripts were detectable by RNA sequencing in either the endometrium or conceptus from Day 16 of pregnancy.
