Role of ROCK1 and ROCK2 in cardiovascular disease. Activated ROCK1 and ROCK2 play a pivotal role in processes leading to cardiovascular diseases such as hypertension, pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH), atherosclerosis, vasospastic angina, stroke, diabetes, cardiac ischemia/reperfusion (I/R) injury and heart failure.
