Inoculation of E75CV1 confers protection against homologous E75 lethal challenge (Box 1 from experiment 3). Groups of four pigs were either inoculated with 10⁴ HAU₅₀ E75CV1 or non-immunized (control) and 31 days later were challenged with a lethal dose of 10⁴ HAU₅₀ of E75. The ASFV infection was montitored by: rectal temperature (A), virus detection in sera by hemadsorption (B) and nasal excretion by means of qPCR (C). The graphs show the average values of each group and the standard deviations (**p < 0.01 and ***p < 0.001).
