SB203580 differentially modulates LPS-induced pro-inflammatory cytokine production in macrophages. Cells were pretreated with SB203580 at the indicated concentrations for 1 h and then were stimulated by adding LPS (50 ng/ml); culture supernatants were collected 12 h later and concentrations of TNF-α and IL-6 were measured by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay.
