Table reports cells counts (cells/mm²) of c-Fos positive cells among NeuN positive cells in the retina for various conditions. Notice how, even in the control group, a clear increase in c-Fos positive cell density could be found after visual stimulation, as opposed to the dLGN behavior in the same conditions. The last column reports the number of animals tested for each pharmacological manipulation, equally subdivided between darkness and visual stimulation.
