Relaxation of the pellicle. Using a high-speed camera, we were able to measure the temporal displacement of the pellicle margin during its release. The relaxation may be adjusted by an exponential decay of characteristic time τR = 30 ± 10 ms (straight line). To see this figure in color, go online.
