ROS generation through the activation of PARs. Washed human platelets (preloaded with 10 µM H2DCFDA for ROS experiments only) were stimulated with (A) 0.2–2 U/mL thrombin, (B) 10–50 µM PAR1-AP or (C) 150–250 µM PAR4-AP, and monitored for aggregation by light transmission aggregometry or ROS production by flow cytometry (n=3).
