Analysis of apoptosis of aortic endothelial cells by flow cytometry. The isolated cells were divided into negative control group (aorta endothelial cells isolated from SD rats), spontaneous hypertension group (aorta endothelial cells isolated from rats with spontaneous hypertension), berberine group (aorta endothelial cells isolated from rats with spontaneous hypertension + berberine). Cells in berberine group were treated with berberine (1.25, 2.5, and 5 μmol/L) for 24 h. Cell apoptosis was analyzed by flow cytometry after Annexin V staining. A.
