Items reported as “major barriers” (vs. “somewhat of a barrier” or “not a barrier at all”) to using the NQF measure for reporting HCP influenza vaccination by <5% of facilities overall were: lack of previous experience measuring HCP influenza vaccination, the number of employees working at the healthcare facility, lack of support from administration or leadership for using the measure, lack of support or assistance from other staff members in tracking vaccination, understanding the definitions for different types of HCP, privacy concerns reported by unions, and other.
