(A–C) Mature olfactory receptor neurons arising from c-Kit+ cells innervate the olfactory bulb. C-KitCreERT2/+; R26R-confetti mouse was treated with tamoxifen on p2 and sacrificed p62. RFP+ axons are evident innervating a glomerulus (G) in the olfactory bulb. Olfactory nerve layer is marked (ON). The excellent cytoplasmic distribution of RFP in this model may be useful for studies assessing glomerulus innervation. Nuclei are labeled with DAPI (blue). Bar = 50 μm.
