Binding of loop 2 (a) and other loops (b) Cry19Aa muteins to Culex pipiens BBMV. FITC-labeled Cry19Aa was incubated with 10 μg mL⁻¹ of BBMV and 100 nM unlabeled Cry19Aa as a blocker in the presence of increasing concentrations of unlabeled Cry19Aa or muteins. Binding is expressed as percentage of the amount bound upon incubation with labeled toxin alone. Data shown are obtained from the average of three experiments.
