Interaction between toddler cortisol reactivity and fear expressed in a low-threat (LT) context in predicting anxiety. Toddler cortisol reactivity significantly predicted age 3 anxiety only at very high (+2 SD) of low-threat fear. The regression model controlled for SES and age 2 anxiety, so the model predicted change in anxiety over a 1 year period.
