NOTE:

a

Frequency items answered on a scale of 0 = Never to 9 = Every day or nearly every day,

b

how often they drank to get drunk answered on a scale of 0 = Never to 5 = Nearly every time or every time, and

c

max drinks on a single occasion answered on a scale of 0 = 0 drinks to 10 = 10+ drinks. Significant differences between elder and younger siblings were tested by constraining the parameters to be equal across groups and utilizing the chi-square difference test (χ2) on 1 degree of freedom (df) change to compare the chi-square value from the free and constrained models.
