Uninfected TauKO mouse brains are used to demonstrate assay-related background Tau levels. All analysis was performed using a 10−8 dilution of brain lysates. Data is plotted as mean ± SD. Significance of T-Tau and P-Tau values between uninfected C57Bl vs. ME7-infected C57Bl mice is determined by the unpaired t-test (p<0.05). No significance differences, as determined by the unpaired t-test, was found in the T-Tau levels between ME7, 139A and 22L infected mice, but the P-Tau values of ME7 and 139A > 22L-infected mice (p<0.05).
