EGCG induces, but not inhibits, autophagosome formation in hepatoma cells. (a) The effect of EGCG on autophagosome formation in HepG2.2.15 cells by western blotting. HepG2.2.15 cells were treated with 25 or 50 μM of EGCG for 24 h. Cells were then subjected to western blotting analysis using anti-LC3. The expression of GAPDH (glyceraldehyde 3-phosphate dehydrogenase) was used as a loading control. (b) The effect of EGCG on autophagosome formation in HepG2.2.15 cells by FACS analysis.
