In the first step, a BoNT/E sample is injected over the SNAP-25 sensor chip for a pre-determined contact time. In the second step, the neo-epitope produced by BoNT/E activity is detected using mAb11C3. Regeneration with a short pulse of acidic buffer (not illustrated), triggers dissociation of bound antibodies and allows a new cycle of cleavage/detection.
