The resulting histological images were superimposed with images produced by EdU (red) and DAPI (blue) staining to produce the final three-color images. For the purpose of focusing on cell marker expression in the long term EdU-labeled LRCs, only the results of the 6-week tissue samples are shown here. The magnifications are 400× and 1000× for the panels and inserts, respectively.
