Integrated transcriptomic and proteomic analyses reveal that Nrf2 controls the expression of genes/proteins that contribute to the maintenance of normal kidney function, by (a) coordinating xenobiotic disposition, (b) maintaining redox balance, and (c) mediating the supply of NAPDH and other cellular fuels.
