The letters S, I, and R indicate the sensitivity breakpoints as given by the CLSI/EUCAST (see Materials and Methods for details): S, sensitive; R, resistant, I, intermediate susceptibility toward the antibiotic. The numbers in parentheses indicate the diameter (in millimeters) of the zone of inhibition on Mueller-Hinton agar.
