The left part of the image displays the crystal structure with different views. On the right side, a comparison between the crystal structures of Ba_0.6Sr_0.4Zn₂Si₂O₇ and HT-BaZn₂Si₂O₇ is displayed. The blue spheres are the Ba²⁺ and Sr²⁺ ions inside the Ba_0.6Sr_0.4Zn₂Si₂O₇ phase. In the case of BaZn₂Si₂O₇, the blue balls only describe the positions of Ba²⁺.
