Chronostratigraphy for IODP Expedition 341 was based on the 2012 geologic timescale (GTS2012). The GTS2012 is shown with assigned magnetostratigraphic and correlated biostratigraphic time intervals. For the biozones, the intervals for diatoms, foraminifers, and radiolarians are shown and are North Pacific-specific where appropriate.
