Generating prediction-based shape–location priors for segmentation of target data. Given segmented predictor organs of the target data, the target organ shape ŝ_0t is predicted. The mapping defined by the deformation field from reference shape ${\mathbf{s}}_0^{\prime }$ to predicted shape, ${\widehat{\mathbf{s}}}_0^{\ast },F(\cdot ;{\mathbf{s}}_0^{\prime },{\widehat{\mathbf{s}}}_0^{\ast })$, is applied to the prediction-based SSM and PA in the reference space to obtain those in the target data space.
