PBMCs were incubated with increasing concentrations of prednisolone (0, 10 nM, 100 nM, 10 μM) for 30 min at 37°C. Following that cells were treated with LPS (0.01 μg/mL, 1.0 μg/mL or control) for four hours at 37°C. TNF-α production was measured as described in Materials and Methods. Data points represent n = 3.
