The number of ouib 29 /ouib 74 animals that grew up to the third instar larval, pupal and adult stages was scored. Tb+ indicates ouib 29 /ouib 74 animals, while Tb- indicates ouib 29 /TM6 or ouib 74 /TM6 animals from the parental strains in the same experimental batches. Tb- animals can be used as internal controls. Values in parentheses indicate the percentage of animals that survive to the pupal and adult stages.
