AABB transfusion guidelines

Postoperative surgical patients–transfusion should be considered at a hemoglobin of 8 g/dL or less or for symptoms of:
Chest pain
Orthostatic hypotension
Tachycardia unresponsive to fluid resuscitation
Congestive heart failure
