Effects of tuna heart (TH)-H₂O fraction on collagen type I synthesis in Hs27 cells. Cells were cultured with the TH-H₂O fraction at 25, 50 and 100 µg/ml for 24 h. The supernatant and pellet were collected from each well and procollagen type 1 c-peptide (PIP) was determined using the EIA kit. Values are represented as the means ± SD; p<0.05 by ANOVA. Bars labeled with different letters indicate a significant difference compared to the untreated controls, according to Duncan's multiple range test.
