(A) The inhibition of G-protein signaling with the GDP-β-S did not affect the Kir currents. GDP-β-S (1 mM), a non-hydrolysable GTP analog, was applied in pipette internal solution, and whole-cell currents were studied after 15 min. (B) G-protein activator choleratoxin (0.01 M) had no significant effect on the currents in whole-cell recording.
