Transfection of LmiR-130a increases small vascular density following MI. After induction of MI for 21 days, hearts were harvested and sectioned for staining with anti-CD31 antibody. (A) Representative images of heart sections stained with anti-CD31 antibody. Quantification of immunohistochemistry staining with anti-CD31 antibody in the ischemic zone shows increased numbers of small vessel density following transfection with LmiR-130a. N=3-5/group.
