Differentially expressed genes show regional specific expression in the chorion of E7.5 embryos. In situ hybridisation analysis on sagittal sections of E7.5 mouse embryos reveals specific expression of Eomes as positive control and novel TSC marker genes Bok/Mtd, Cldn26, Cyp26a1, Duox2, Duoxa2, Nr0b1, and Sox21, in the entire chorion, or limited expression in the chorionic hinge (indicated by arrowheads).
