Depth of light collection of our imaging system. Samples of NaFl solutions were prepared such that concentration-depth product was maintained constant. The total fluorescence intensity, which was normalized by that measured using the 10 µm-depth chamber, was plotted for the chambers with the depth 10, 20, 40, 80, 170, and 340 µm (○). The solid line is the curve fitting for the measured intensity values using a light collection index function in (Yuan et al. 1993).
