Kinase inhibitors induce a dose-dependent increase in the sensitivity of MRSA to NAF in vitro. Cultures of MRSA WT LAC were grown in the presence or absence of NAF (4 µg/mL) with various concentrations of (A) ST085384; (B) ST085399; or (C) staurosporine. The concentration required for 50% growth inhibition for ST085384 (12.7 µM) was comparable to that of staurosporine (13.4 µM).
