VEGF secretion by AFSCs over the course of 14 days in response to endothelial stimuli in various O2 conditions. VEGF secretion was significantly higher (< 0.001) in continuous hypoxia at day 7 and 14. VEGF secretion in intermittent hypoxia was significantly (< 0.05) higher relative to AFSCs in growth media and normoxia at day 7. AFSCs in growth media served as the negative control. HUVECs served as the positive control.
