CV-1 cells transiently transfected with DR1-Luc reporter plasmid (DR1-Luc), RXRα-pcDNA1/Amp (RXRα), and pCMV-β-gal were incubated either without (-) or with (100 nM, 1 μM, 5 μM, or 10 μM) HX630 (A) or PA024 (B) for 48 hr. Additionally, CV-1 cells transiently transfected with DR5-Luc reporter plasmid (DR5-Luc), RXRα-pcDNA1/Amp (RXRα), pCMX-hRARα (RARα), and pCMV-β-gal were incubated either in the absence (-) or presence of 10 μM Am80 without (-) or with (100 nM, 1 μM, 5 μM, or 10 μM) HX630 (C) or PA024 (D) for 48 hr. Results are expressed as percentages of each control.
