Histological analysis of various normal organs and tumor of MDA-MB-231 tumor-bearing mice 24 hours after treatment with tTF-pHLIP. Sections of heart, liver, spleen, lung, kidney and tumor were stained with hematoxylin and eosin (H&E). Thrombosis was only found in the blood vessels of the tumor, as indicated by the arrows.
