Connectometry results showing significant negative correlations between age of onset of depression in the major depressive disorder (MDD) group and white matter density in the following tracts: (1) left sensory pathway through the posterior limb of the internal capsule (red), (2) right thalamocortical radiation (orange), (3) left inferior longitudinal fasciculus (yellow), and (4) bilateral cerebellar tracts (blue and green). Diffusion tensor imaging (DTI) image slices are presented in radiologic convention, and the tract images are presented in neurological convention.
